Endleofan (2015)

Endleofan, “one left” or the number 11 in old English. The premise of the piece is centered around the number 11 and loosely based on M-Theory and idea of 11 dimensions. The meaning of the word being “one left” also applies to the piece where the 11th numbered pitch or B natural is avoided until the end of the piece. At that point the pitch completes the row on which the piece is structured and signifies a completion of one’s self.
